OMEGA

Through the generous sponsorship of AlerisLife Inc. and AARP, the MIT AgeLab organizes OMEGA, an initiative designed to foster multigenerational connections between high school students and older adults. The goal of OMEGA is to strengthen relationships and promote connections across generations.

Annual OMEGA Summit - RSVP

OMEGA convenes student summits each year in an effort to encourage students to connect across generations, brainstorm and share programming ideas, and plan intergenerational activities. The OMEGA Summit is also an ideal time to learn about the OMEGA scholarship application process and eligibility requirements. Students in grades 9-12 across the U.S. are invited to participate in the summits. The 2022 OMEGA Summit will take place on October 15, 2022 at 1PM ET. RSVP today!

OMEGA Chat Hours

Chat Hour sessions bring together high school & college students, older adults, educators, and professionals in aging from across the United States who are interested in leading & joining efforts to improve intergenerational connections.

OMEGA Scholarship

The OMEGA Scholarship is designed to recognize the efforts that teens are making to create multigenerational connections and to amplify and support students' contributions to building initiatives, organizations and institutions that connect teens with older adults. Check out the amazing intergenerational programs our previous scholarship winners have been leading here.
