Alexa Balmuth
Research Specialist, MIT AgeLab
Alexa Balmuth is a Research Specialist at the MIT AgeLab. In 2018, she earned her B.S. from Tulane University with a major in psychology and a minor in public health. Prior to her role at the AgeLab, Alexa worked with a variety of non-profit organizations and research laboratories focused on developmental and psychological processes across the lifespan.
Her primary research interests focus on the factors that promote individuals' social and emotional wellbeing throughout the aging process.
