Alea is the coordinator and project designer of a number of studies at the Lab. She is involved with volunteer recruitment, scheduling and working with volunteers. She is involved in all stages of AgeLab studies, both in design and implementation. She is responsible for the training & supervision of student research assistants in consenting of research subjects, administering questionnaires, and implementing human subject research protocols. She oversees the scoring questionnaires and experimental tasks, as well as coordinating compilation of information into data sets and reviewing data sets for errors. Alea graduated from Wagner College with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology. Most recently, she graduated from the Tufts Gordon Institute with a Master of Science in Engineering Management (MSEM).
