OMEGA is an MIT AgeLab initiative designed to foster multigenerational connections between high school students and older adults. The goal of OMEGA is to strengthen relationships and promote connections across generations. OMEGA convenes student summits each year in an effort to encourage students to connect across generations, brainstorm and share programming ideas, and plan intergenerational activities. The OMEGA summit is also an ideal time to learn about the OMEGA scholarship application process and eligibility requirements. Students in grades 9-12 are invited to participate in the summits.
The October 2019 OMEGA Summit assists interested high school students in generating ideas for intergenerational programs in their communities. Learn more and sign up for the Summit!
