This fall saw the first of an ongoing series of panel discussions between AgeLab researchers and community members aged 85 and above. The ongoing meetings, which will take place on a bimonthly basis, will delve into such topics as age-friendly design, caregiving, mobility, financial decision-making, health and wellbeing, and more.
The AgeLab team, led by researchers Lisa D'Ambrosio and Julie Miller, hopes to gain insights into and perspectives from the 85+ popluation, with the goal of expanding the scope and relevance of AgeLab studies addressing the "oldest-old."
The discussions will involve formal presentations mixed with interactive workshopping of topics.
Anyone over age 85 interested in participating should feel free to reach out to Julie Miller, MSW, at firstname.lastname@example.org.
