Dan Brown's primary role is the development and continued support of the AgeLab AwareCars and driving simulator. Dan's recent work involved conceiving, prototyping, building, iterating and thoroughly testing RIDER, Real-time Intelligent Driving Environment Recording System. He also assists the AgeLab staff with volunteer subject data collection in laboratory, simulation, field, and naturalistic experiments. He performs data analysis, creating technical documentation, forming and executing test plans, and assisting with the development of experimental protocols. Dan received his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
