Carley Ward is a Research Associate at the AgeLab. She received a Master’s degree in Educational Psychology and an Equity and Diversity Certificate from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities. Her graduate school research focused on the social psychological foundations of education, applying psychological theories to learning, and involved action research partnerships with local public schools and out-of-school time networks.
Now, at the AgeLab, her focus has shifted from students to older adults. Carley has contributed to studies examining caregiving, the future of retirement, and how sharing economy services can be used to help older adults age in place.
