Staying Put visits AgeLab

MIT AgeLab welcomed members of Staying Put, a grassroots voluntary group with a passion for Somerville Cambridge residents, especially those 55+. Staying Put raises awareness about the concepts and importance of universal design principles and age-friendly communities in order to inspire active and meaningful living across the lifespan. Susann Wilkinson of Staying Put organized the event and invited honored guest, Massachusetts State Senator Pat Jehlen, Senate Chair of the Committee on Elder Affairs. AgeLab Director Joe Coughlin kicked off the visit along with Dick Myrick and Julie Miller.
