Students test out invention in AGNES

Tue, 11/29/2011

The 2.009 Green Team visited the AgeLab to experience their invention, a walker that tranforms into a cane, while wearing AGNES. The students commented on changes they would make with weight and handle position after experiencing the age-related physical limitations the Age Gain Now Empathy System caused. 2.009 is a course entitled Product Engineering Processes, in which undergraduate MIT students are given the opportunity to design and build working alpha prototypes of new products. A final presentation is given to roughly 600 guests from academia and industry at the end of the semester.
