MIT AgeLab research scientist Bryan Reimer keynoted the 3rd International Conference on Automotive User Interfaces and Interactive Vehicular Applications on November 30 ins Salzburg, Austria. His talk was entitled, “Is Automotive Technology Leaving the Driver Behind? Rethinking How We Engineer Interfaces to Accommodate The Capabilities of the Driver”. He focused on the changing automotive user interface, the need for increased consideration of user characteristics, and methods that can be used to assess the performance of interfaces.
