Olivia DaDalt Publishes Piece in NextAvenue on Older Adults, Financial Fraud
This morning an article by AgeLab researcher Olivia DaDalt was published in NextAvenue, public media’s first and only national journalism service for America’s booming older population. Drawing on the Lab's research on older adults and trust, DaDalt investigates the reasons for the elderly being more susceptible to financial scams than others, and ways that older adults and their families can protect themselves against fraud. The article offers links and information about technologies and phone apps specifically designed to combat fraud and links to more resources to help seniors recognize and prevent this abuse from happening.
