LA Times asks AgeLab about high tech elder care

AgeLab was featured in the Los Angeles Times in “Elder care goes high tech” on June 17. The article mentioned technology that is enabling older adults to stay in their own homes longer.

“Aging in place is starting to hit a tipping point, but we now need to make it mainstream enough where it’s not something you find at the doctor’s office or have to do lots of research on over the Web,” AgeLab director Joe Coughlin told the Times.
