Joseph Coughlin Keynotes National Pension Education Association Annual Meeting

 AgeLab Director Joe Coughlin addressed the National Pension Education Association’s (NEPA) 2012 Annual Meeting held this year in Boston.

NEPA is the nation’s leading organization of public retirement systems that focuses on educating members about the importance of and the need for retirement planning. Coughlin’s keynote lecture “Engaging & Educating to Plan Life Tomorrow” presented key lessons from AgeLab research on engaging people to plan and save for their retirement years. These include novel approaches to technology to provide personalized engagement as well as key insights from behavioral finance in how to obtain the attention of employees as well as sustained action to save, plan and remain active participants in their futures.
