An AARP Bulletin article, “Are Cars Getting Too Smart?” featured commentary by New England Center and MIT AgeLab research scientist Bryan Reimer. Dr. Reimer was asked how safety features could pose a risk by distracting drivers rather than assisting them. Research Associate Dick Myrick related his experiences as a former test subject for distracted driver research performed at the lab.
