AgeLab Researcher Bryan Reimer speaks at UNH

Wed, 04/06/2011

New England Center Researcher Bryan Reimer will be discussing measuring the cognitive component of driver workload & distraction at the University of New Hampshire on April 5. He will cite New England Center research regarding state detection and his findings on when physiological reactivity and visual attention do and do not provide accurate modeling of real-world behavior. Reimer is currently assessing workload demand and receptivity to the use of semi-autonomous systems in the general population using new automotive systems as a model and considering the significance of demographic variables such as age, gender and technology experience.

Andrew L. Kun, Associate Professor, Electrical and Computer Engineering at UNH blogged about Dr. Reimer's visit here.
