NBC Nightly News featured a recently completed driving fitness study done by MIT AgeLab in partnership with The Hartford. The following are clips from the segment:

'I definitely feel a looser quality to my ability to move'

As a participant in MIT AgeLab’s yearlong study on senior drivers, 72 year-old Stanton Lyman hit the gym to see if more exercise could lead to sharper reflexes behind the wheel. He talks to NBC’s Stephanie Gosk about the results.

'Exercise is another tool to help keep you safe on the road'

A new study from MIT and The Hartford Insurance company shows that simple exercises and stretches can help senior drivers remain safe on the road. The study's authors, Joseph Coughlin and Jodi Olshevski discuss the importance of flexibility for drivers.
