AgeLab data a USA Today Snapshot

Fri, 09/02/2011

USA Today Snapshots included data from the MIT AgeLab/The Hartford Home for a Lifetime Survey.

The survey of 337 adults aged 47-65 found 50% prefer to age in in their current homes, 41% prefer to age in another home and 9% are not sure.

The Hartford and AgeLab collaborated in using the data to provide resources to create homes that match your needs and preferences throughout the lifespan. Included are two free guidebooks, "Modern Ideas, Modern Living; Taking the Next Step in Home Design and Planning for the Lifestyle You Want" and "Simple Solutions: Practical Ideas and Products to Enhance Independent Living".

Information and guidebook downloads can be found here.
