Age-Proofing the City: AgeLab's Michal Isaacson & Hilde Waerstad featured in The Atlantic

AgeLab's research on livable communities and development of the USDOT-funded MALL or Massachusetts Avenue Living Laboratory project was featured in The Atlantic. Urban Geographer and AgeLab Post-doc Michal Issacson described her work using GPS to track mobility patterns of older adults along with AgeLab's Hilde Waerstad, a geriatric physical therapist, discussed the next version of AGNES (Age Gain Now Empathy System) to help students and researchers understand the daily friction faced by older adults navigating the urban landscape.
