AgeLab researcher, Lisa D'Ambrosio, presented at Life@50+, AARP's Annual National Event and Expo in Anaheim, CA on October 27th. D'Ambrosio and Jodi Oleshevski from The Hartford Gerontology Group delivered a presentation entitled "Lessons Learned in the Lab: Helping the Family Caregiver." The AgeLab and The Hartford have collaborated extensively on research surrounding older drivers and those who care for them. This research has been used to develop public education materials to help families deal with issues surrounding drivers with dementia and address questions about how safe it is for an older person to continue driving.
