Fall OMEGA Summit: October 21st, 2017

Fall OMEGA Summit: October 21st, 2017

OMEGA is an MIT AgeLab initiative designed to foster multigenerational connections between high school students and older adults. The MIT AgeLab is hosting a one-day event (which we call a Summit) with high schoolers in all grades from across New England. During the Summit, students will learn about community-based intergenerational programming and brainstorm ideas for intergenerational exchange. The goal of the Summit is to prepare students to take on leadership roles in their school and community in order to increase and improve relationships between older adults and high school students. Students will also learn more about college scholarships that are available for high school juniors and seniors who demonstrate intergenerational leadership during the 2017-2018 school year. We invite high schoolers in all grades to join us for this fun, informative, and collaborative event! Questions can be directed to omegamit@mit.edu or 617-253-1894.
