AgeLab contributes feature story to VisionZero
The MIT AgeLab contributed an article to the January 2012 issue of Vision Zero International, a bi-annual magazine that addresses improving safety though advanced vehicle design and technology. The article, which was the feature story for the magazine, is entitled “New age philosophy” and was written by AgeLab research scientist Bryan Reimer, director Joe Coughlin and research associate Angelina Gennis. It discusses changing demographics, consumer demands and findings from the lab on new in-vehicle technologies that point to a need for better resources for older adult drivers.
The magazine is available for free, digitally. “New age philosophy” begins on page 004.
